HONG ANH & DUC DUONG
A sweet white avalanche wedding ceremony
Anh & Duong first met in Taiwan when they were both there for their post graduate studies. They became good friends and kept in touch with each other even after they graduated.
After being back to Vietnam, Anh started working for a Taiwanese bank in their Ho Chi Minh City office while Duong set up his business in Hanoi. His patience and sincere love persuaded her to move back to Hanoi.
To start a new chapter of life together, Anh & Duong had their beautiful wedding with the witness of their family and close friends. They love to have a cozy wedding with classic elegant decoration and a programme with a special twist.
After fully understand their requests, their love story as well as their choice of location - JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, we decided to choose the classic elegant wedding theme consisting sweet white and green colour palette with a hint of metallic gold.
With green and white are the main tone, pastel pink and gold was added to warm up the whole decoration set using flowers and accessories.
Fairy lights and lanterns were the perfect partner-in-crime of flowers and silk. They lighten up the whole space without trying too hard.
THE WINE BOX CEREMONY
Anh & Duong did not want to do the exchange of ring ceremony since they had already done it in their traditional Vietnamese wedding a week earlier. After researching together, they decided to opt for the wine box ceremony as our suggestion.
THE WINE BOX CEREMONY is a sweet twist for every modern wedding. A Love Letter and Wine Box ceremony will serve as a lasting reminder of the commitments made to one another. Heartfelt letters, encapsulating your thoughts and feelings are locked away in a wine box to be revealed several years into your marriage.
Before the ceremony, each bride and groom prepared a love letter for one another. They wrote down what they felt in that very special moment and also, their hope and wishes for the future to come.
All of decoration, from fresh flowers, fairy light to paper white lanterns, transparent boxes, flower globes… were arranged in moderation and harmony.
Together, they created a March wedding which is solemn and warm. The wine box ceremony was the sentimental twist to add more flavour to the programme.
